We went up to Camino on Sunday to have dinner with the fam and let the boys have a sleepover. Mathias disappeared shortly after we arrived and was finally found sneaking skittles in Grandmary's piano room with the door closed, the lights off and he closed his eyes when Daddy came in so nobody would find him

Tim felt like rigging up a harness and putting Jared in it one night then we did a human zip line across the house (Tim and I were acting as the trees). It didn't last too long, 32 year old humans were never meant to be trees.

Jared learmed how to "pop" in his gymnastics class and practices on Mathias every chance he gets

Master and Commander

Daddy took Jared and Mathias out on the boat for the first time. They all had a blast. Jared just looks like a little natural. Too bad he almost tiped the boat. That was fun. Mathias had fun too but I think he got a little lake sick, he was a little cling-on for most of the trip.

Jared really wanted a car cake for his birthday so I gave it a shot. I think there was more frosting than cake on this thing. It took about 2 and a half hours to do but it was worth it. Jared just loved it.

Jelly Belly Trip

What a fun trip this was with Anna and her kids. The best part was the samples at the end. I wasn't brave enough to try vomit.

A couple weeks before Jared was 4 years old he surprised us by teaching himself how to ride a bike "without training wheels". He had been practicing on our front porch and in the house (when mommy was feeling lenient) for a few days by himself and with a little instruction from mom and dad he just took off one day. We took him to the church parking lot and let him loose. It is still by far his favorite thing to do.
